Flip Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Flip is a daily word game: three scrambled words a day, solved by flipping runs of letters. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: everything stays on your device, and we never see it.
What we collect: nothing.
Flip has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. The app makes no network requests. We (the developer) cannot see your games, your scores, or your streaks.
What stays on your device
Flip keeps the following on your device so it can remember your game:
- Game progress — today’s round in progress, your results for each day, and your streak. It is stored in a container shared only between the Flip app and its own Home Screen widget, so the widget can show and play today’s first word.
- Settings — whether haptics are on, and whether you have seen the tutorial.
None of this leaves your device. It is not synced to iCloud, sent to us, or shared with anyone.
Sharing your score
When you tap Share after a round, Flip hands a short text summary (the round number, your score and three colored squares) to Apple’s share sheet. You choose where it goes, and Flip sees nothing after that.
Children
Flip collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your information
Deleting the app removes its progress and settings. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
Credits
Flip’s puzzles were built from these word lists:
